Yeah, and as I'm sure you know, there can be a huge range -- 6-12g/L, if memory serves me right. Someone was telling me that Veuve Clicquot has gradually moved their dosage up to the maximum to appeal more to the American palate in recent years, and consequently, it used to be a lot better. Anyways, I don't know what the deal was, I suppose that it could have just been the wine, but it was bordering on syrupy and came off as a little flabby. Still Champagne and not New World though; it didn't have the whole fruitiness aspect.

Like yours' too. Interesting post on pregnancy and drinking...several women that I know that have had babies have taken the same stance as you, and of course, the kids turned out fine.

And tacos in Seattle? Yeah, Seattle doesn't know how to make tacos. Luckily, I live in LA so normally I don't have that problem. There are almost too many good tacos here...
