2003 Chateau Caronne Ste-Gemme Haut-Medoc

I had the 2005 about 6 months ago, which was still tight and
undrinkable. It will be good once the tannins are tamed. This vintage
is classic Bordeaux, with bright, sweet black fruit of currants and
blackberries, a touch of raspberry, and lots of herby notes.
Definitely old world, old school. Sure it's a Cru Bourgouis and not
Latour or something, but it was also 20$ instead of several hundred. B+
