2005 Chateau D' Agel "In Extremis" Minervois

From Minervois; Syrah. This wine was interesting with a ripe nose of licorice, blackberries, pepper, and herbs (lavender). Initially closed, with bitter tannins, it eventually opened up to reveal lots of toasty fruit. Extremely dense and inky, which is atypical of Minervois. B+

I tried this wine, "In Extremis," from a SoCal Costco, but unable to find it in the Bay Area. Does anyone know of a website where I can buy it?

Try contacting the importer. For some reason it doesn't show up on wine-searcher.com. I have seen some recently in So Cal at Costco--I guess a lot of people that only drink Napa Cabs and crappy buttery chardonnays must not like taking a chance on something from Minervois...

The wine is from Bordeax Etc. Wine Imports.
